Dr. Samir Chatterjee

Dr. Samir Chatterjee is author, professor, scientist & entrepreneur.
He is Professor and Fletcher Jones Chair of Technology Management and Design at Claremont Graduate University.
He has published over 165 peer reviewed articles in the Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics and Computer Science area.
His research is heavily cited (total citations:17,243; h-index: 31; i10-index: 68) and is internationally renowned for his work in biomedical informatics, persuasive technology and design science.
He serves as EIC of Health Systems journal. He is currently on the editorial board of ISR, JAIS and has served as AE on MISQ and several IEEE/ACM journals.
He is the author of the best-selling book on Design Research in Information Systems and is the founding father of the DESRIST conference.
He regularly serves as chair or member of the technical program committee on numerous IEEE, ACM and AIS conferences.
He has received over $3.6 mil of funding from federal (NSF, NIH) and private foundations. He is Founder & CEO of DCL health, a digital healthcare startup and previously co-founded VoiceCore.
When he is not doing science and design, he is an avid musician and composer. His recent new albums under his stage name Samir Bodhi have
received numerous awards and he was featured artist on the 66th Grammy Award nominated album “Hip Hope for Kids”.
He lives in Southern California with his wife and son.
