JORGE OROZCO
Founder / Chief Executive Officer
Jorge Orozco is an influential entrepreneurial businessman, executive, and a visionary.
Most recently he was Founder, President, and CEO of SCOR Industries. He built SCOR
into a recognized industry leader in Sustainable Materials Management.
He worked with some of the largest and most successful construction firms which
include Toll Brothers, KB Home, Taylor Morrison, Turner Construction, Whiting Turner, Webcor Builders, Oltmans and others.
He created jobs for over one hundred fifty full-time employees. His work in the industry earned him an appointment by the California Speaker of the Assembly to the Carpet Stewardship and Recycling Program Advisory Committee.
After selling SCOR and with his keen sense for business acumen and assessing trends, he built a fiber optic company that continues to grow.
His background is in finance. He worked for Deloitte as an Audit and Business Advisory Senior Executive. He worked with multinational companies on divestitures, mergers and acquisitions, operations, post-merger integration, and strategy. In addition, he has worked for Grand Thornton International, and Quaker Oats Co.
Jorge is a trusted financial business advisor to owners of small, medium and large
businesses. He has established a reputation as a highly professional, quality oriented businessman ambitious to succeed. He has represented and assisted international companies establish a presence, profitable partnerships and cooperation arrangements in the United States and Mexico.
Jorge received a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting from the University of
Guadalajara. He then moved on to specialize in finance from the Mexican Institute of Public Accountants. Upon arriving in the United States he immersed himself into
education. He attended the University of California, Irvine.
He obtained his MBA at Pepperdine University in Malibu California. He is fluent in
English and Spanish. When he is not working, and what he enjoys the most, is spending time with his wife and three children.
